Automate the vendor document grind — parse incoming bills, generate purchase orders, and keep EDI flowing without the manual entry.

Overview

What this looks like

EDI is where a lot of businesses quietly bleed time. I architected an in-house EDI system (Next.js, hosted on Railway) that parses incoming vendor bills and auto-generates purchase orders — turning a manual, error-prone process into something that just happens.

If you’re handling vendor documents, invoices, purchase orders, or trading-partner data by hand, this is a high-leverage thing to automate — and it’s work I’ve done deep.

What's included

Everything you get, handled by one person.

Document parsing

Incoming vendor bills and POs read and structured automatically.

Auto-generated POs

Purchase orders created and matched without manual keying.

Trading-partner setup

Mapping and formats configured for each partner’s requirements.

PO import tools

XML/EDI purchase orders imported and matched to your records.

Error handling

Bad or mismatched documents get flagged instead of silently failing.

Accounting sync

Parsed documents flow straight into your books.

How it works

A straight line from idea to live.

FAQ

Good questions.

Do I need a specific EDI provider?

No. I build systems that work with your trading partners’ formats directly, or alongside a provider if you already have one.

Can you handle complex or high-volume purchase orders?

Yes — I’ve built XML PO import and matching systems that auto-create and reconcile records, including per-line vendor and margin handling.

Have something you want built?

A new site, a store, an automation that's eating your team's time — tell me about it. I reply personally.
